Tianyi Yang works in the interdisciplinary fields of machine learning and system engineering. His current research focuses on using cutting-edge machine learning to model monitoring metrics and improve the reliability and performance of cloud computing systems.

Tianyi Yang got his Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and B.Eng from Sun Yat-Sen University. Till March 2024, he has published papers in top software engineering and machine learning conferences. Besides, he has also spent time at Microsoft Research Asia and Alipay as a research intern/data analyst intern.
